Carpooling

We do not provide organized car pooling. However, participants are encouraged to make their own car pooling arrangements.

Extreme Weather Policy

Although we like to hike rain or shine, there are two weather conditions in particular that we look out for:

  • The daytime high is forecasted to be colder than -20 C
  • There will be extreme winds or lightning

In these conditions it is highly likely the hike will be cancelled. Check the home page for announcements or call the hike leader or the hike coordinator for confirmation.
