Alberta's Premier Hiking Trail
Due to severely cold weather stretching out through Sunday, the hike on the Ministik Bird Sanctuary and Oliver Lake trails has been cancelled. There is a possibility we will reschedule it to later in the season.
In the meantime, enjoy these pictures from last year’s hike.
So now it’s even more wintry than last weekend. This Sunday we’ll be hiking from Snow Valley to John Janzen Nature Centre and back.
This is a Snow Valley Chickadee (not a Gwynne-area Chickadee).
Hopefully we’ll get to hike Gwynne and the Chickadee Trail (our original plan) early next summer.
