The Waskahegan Trail is a unique resource that exists only because of the generosity of landowners. Before you set foot on the trail, know the landowner rights and the trail user responsibilities.

CBC Radio-Canada visits Trail Maintenance

Des bénévoles nettoient le sentier de randonnée Waskahegan

(Volunteers maintain the Waskahegan trail)

CBC Radio-Canada (the Edmonton station) had been working on a TV series about trails in Western Canada. We missed the cut-off to be in the TV series; however–even better–they came out with the maintenance crew on the Pipestone trail and filmed for about an hour. On the Radio-Canada web site you will see a 2 min video that includes an awesome interview with Yvette Stack (thanks, Yvette & team).

Check out the video – L’entretien du sentier Waskahegan trail (Maintenance of the Waskahegan trail).
