Alberta's Premier Hiking Trail
The Waskahegan Trail is a unique resource that exists only because of the generosity of landowners. Before you set foot on the trail:
We have postponed the Pipestone A50 to Bigstone Creek hike that was scheduled for July 10th to July 17th due to the thunderstorm expected throughout the day.
The Fort Ethier A48 to A48D hike originally scheduled for July 17th will now occur on August 14th.
With the threat of thundershowers and some rain spitting at us the seven of us set off hopeful the weather would hold. Luck was with us and we cleared a more challenging part of the trail from Pipestone Creek at 
A50 past Hwy 814 to the meeting of the Pipestone and Bigstone creeks. Happy hiking!
