Mactaggart Sanctuary (Rescheduled for February 6th)

Meet at Trailhead - We do not provide organized car pooling. However, participants are encouraged to make their own car pooling arrangements.

This weeks hike has Johanne & Dennis leading us through some of their favourite sections of the Mactaggart Sanctuary. The are planning on a 7-8km hike with some hills, so in early January you should have trax/spikes handy. Update from January WTA Board Meeting - due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns we will be canceling the upcoming hikes. We will revisit the status at the February WTA Board Meeting. Whitemud Park to Hawrelak Park, via Laurier Park

The Wanisan Lake hike incorporates the WTA's "Wanisan Stopover" and continues on into the Blackfoot Recreation Area.
