Devon Ravine Trails – Tentative

This is a nice 10km hike through Devon & every time we seem to do a hike there the trail has been improved. The pictures from January 7th, 2024.

We will meet at the trailhead, the parking area just outside of the Lion’s Campground at 10:15 a.m. and the hike will leave at 10:30. We will start from the parking lot just outside the Lion’s Campground, going through the ravine, city trails & taking a few city streets (mostly Erie St. South) to the arena. The arena will be open for minor hockey, so we’ll likely have lunch in the lobby or the stands.

After lunch we will take the city trail by the arena, continuing through town, reconnecting on Erie St. to pickup the river trails again at the junction of Rideau St. /River Dr. back to the Lion’s Campground.

Note: the ravine trails can be slick so having trax/spikes is highly recommended.
