West Battle River Hike

Nine people came out on a fine summer day to hike the West Battle River eastward from Gwynne.

This section of the trail has just two hills to climb, one in and one out. We learned to just take them slow and steady, and you’ll appreciate them even more.

The fields are full of late summer flowers in purple and yellow.

Thanks to Lee for scouting and leading the hike, to trail maintenance for keeping the trail clear, and to the landowners for their continuing permission. You can see all the photos on Flickr.

Where we’re going next.
