  • St. Albert Trails – Tentative

    This weeks hike will be in St. Albert along both sides of the Sturgeon River. The city trail is well-developed and maintained year-round, so it’s a good choice during March.     A great hike as most trails will have wide paths allow the hikers to socialize. There may even be the occasional hawk, some chickadees and hopefully sand cranes.   • Ministik Berg to Williams Lake – Tentative

    Meet at Trailhead - We do not provide organized car pooling. However, participants are encouraged to make their own car pooling arrangements.

    The hike is through the Ministik Bird Sanctuary (A89A to A88) and a bit beyond to Williams Lake ("Red Chair Lookout").     The huge valley starting at Gwynne and containing the Battle River as it flows eastward across Alberta, was created in a few days.
