  • St. Albert Trails – Tentative

    Meet at Trailhead - We do not provide organized car pooling. However, participants are encouraged to make their own car pooling arrangements.

    This weeks hike will be in St. Albert along both sides of the Sturgeon River. The city trail is well-developed and maintained year-round, so it’s a good choice during March.   • Ministik Berg to Williams Lake – Tentative

    Meet at Trailhead - We do not provide organized car pooling. However, participants are encouraged to make their own car pooling arrangements.

    The hike is through the Ministik Bird Sanctuary (A89A to A88) and a bit beyond to Williams Lake ("Red Chair Lookout").     The huge valley starting at Gwynne and containing the Battle River as it flows eastward across Alberta, was created in a few days.
