Hastings Lake to Mottet Hill

Note (updated 2024-09-30, 16:15MT): due to trail maintenance constraints the Battle River A60 to Schnee Hill hike would not be available so we will be redoing the Mottet Hill hike from August. The trail was scouted on September 30th & withe the fall colours it was even more spectacular than August.

This is a section of the trail features pleasant paths through woods and pastures, an extensive boardwalk, and finally a stroll to the top of Mottet Hill. Here are the pictures from the hike on August 4th, 2024.

The hike will leave from “A91”, on Township Road 512 (just off Highway 14 at Range Road 204) at about 9:45 a.m.
