Whitemud Park to Hawrelak Park, via Laurier Park

An exciting Family Day weekend hike that will leave from the parking lot at the Edmonton Valley Zoo (near the Laurier Park trails between the zoo & the river)Whitemud Park (River Valley Parking lot, off Fox Drive at Keillor Road) at about 10:15 a.m. The pictures from February 18th, 2018.
There is the added bonus of the Silver Skate Festival going on at Hawrelak Park (snow sculptures & food pavilions).
In Edmonton we will meet at the McDonalds 87 Ave/149 St – 14920 – 87 Ave & carpool (leaving at 10 a.m.). Participants may proceed there directly on their own, but should check the website prior to departure in case of a change (e.g., weather forecast, trail conditions).
