St. Albert Trails
March 30, 2025 @ 10:15 am – 3:00 pm MDT
This weeks hike will be in St. Albert along both sides of the Sturgeon River. The city trail is well-developed and maintained year-round, so it’s a good choice during the mucky month of April.
We will meet at the huge free parking lot on St. Anne Street in St. Albert (opposite the Musée Héritage Museum / St. Albert Public Library) at 10:15 a.m.. The hike will leave promptly at 10:30, going predominantly east along both sides of the river — crossing the several footbridges as we come to them — until reaching the Good Earth Coffeehouse. There are washrooms at both ends of the hike. The return walk is along the riverside trail segments not already hiked. Total hike length 8-9 km. The pictures from April 7th, 2024.
