Southend Saunders Lake (A33 to A30)
April 17, 2022 @ 9:45 am – 3:00 pm MDT
This hike, 9.8 km round trip, follows the shoreline, giving views of waterbirds and red tailed hawks, with a deer being a bonus.
We’ll meet at the trail head beside Rollyview Road at the end of Saunders Lake at 9:45 a.m. (parking area across the highway). The hike will leave from ‘A33’ at 10:00. The pictures from hike of April 22nd, 2012.
BTW – when scouting on April 7th, the trail was in awesome condition … fewer migrating birds than expected good to get out on the trail & an ideal April hike …
