Hastings Lake to Mottet Hill – No Motet Hill hike, we are looking at alternative ones anywhere …
August 2 @ 9:45 am – 3:00 pm MDT
Note (updated 2026-07-16, 16:30MT) – the trail to Motet was still too wet for maintenance so we will not be hiking there. During the next week, some of our leaders will the scouting the public trails from the to see they have sufficiently dried out from the recent rain/flooding. We will update the website if an alternate hike will occur.
This is a section of the trail features pleasant paths through woods and pastures, an extensive boardwalk, and finally a stroll to the top of Mottet Hill. Here are the pictures from the hike on June 1st, 2025.
The hike will leave from “A91”, on Township Road 512 (just off Highway 14 at Range Road 204) at about 9:45 a.m.
