Devon Voyager Park / Lion’s Campground – Tentative

November 24 @ 10:15 am 3:00 pm MST

This week’s outing makes good use of the Devon trails along the south side of the North Saskatchewan River. The trails climb up and down, in and out of the river valley, making for a more challenging hike than we might be used to on other city trails. The hike will be about 10.5 km long, leaving from the parking lot at Voyager Park (near the bottom of the hill on Saskatchewan Avenue) at about 10:15 a.m. with the hike starting at 10:30. Pictures from November, 15th, 2020.

There are now 3 parking lots at the bottom of the hill & the washrooms between the 2nd & 3rd parking lots are open and the middle one (with the big blue ‘Parking’ sign) is for regular vehicles (so where we should park).
