Devon Ravine Trails

January 7 @ 10:15 am 3:00 pm MST

This is a nice 10km hike through Devon & every time we seem to do a hike there the trail has been improved. The pictures from January 22nd, 2023.

We will start from the parking lot just outside the Lion’s Campground, going through the ravine, city trails & taking a few city streets (mostly Erie St. South) to the arena. The arena will be open for minor hockey, so we’ll likely have lunch in the lobby or the stands. The arena is expanding so the outdoor rink is no longer accessible & the men’s washroom has temporarily been relocated to the dressing rooms beside the ice surface.

After lunch will pickup the city trail by the arena, with a slight detour around the arena construction, continuing through town (mostly Erie St.) to pickup the river trails again back to the Lion’s Campground.

We will meet at the trailhead, the parking area just outside of the Lion’s Campground at 10:15 a.m. and the hike will leave at 10:30.

Note: the ravine trails can be slick so having trax/spikes are recommended.
