The very scenic Stoney Creek hike will start from A67 on Range Road 205/Township Road 461 just east of the bridge on Battle River. We chose this week because this is when the cacti are in bloom.
But there has been a lot of rain, so we’ll go as far as we can.

In Edmonton we will meet at the Century Park ‘Park & Ride’ Section I (free section near the 109th Street entrance) and carpool leaving at 9 a.m. Participants may proceed there directly on their own (we’ll get there around 10 a.m.), but please check the website prior to departure in case of a change.
If you are new to WTA hikes, then you should visit the
Guided Hikes webpage for essential information. For further information specific to this hike, refer to The Waskahegan Trail Guide Book, pages 56-57, or contact the Hike Leader.
