North Miquelon – A86 (Former Store) to A85 (Miquelon Park) (10:30 Start) – Tentative

May 9, 2027 @ 9:45 am – 3:00 pm MDT

Since this is Mother’s Day, we’ll start with the ‘Mother’s Day Breakfast’ at the Spilstead Community Hall (20502 Township Road 502, corner of Township Road 502/Range Road 205), meeting at the community hall for breakfast. We’ve delayed the hike start to 10:30 to accommodate those going to the breakfast.

Those just want to hike can meet us in the parking lot at the Spilstead Community Hall at 10:30. There is limited parking at the trailhead along Township Road 500 (~3km from the community hall), so to minimize the number of vehicles near the trailhead we may carpool from the community hall. 

This is an easy hike, mostly flat, except for the climb up to the Lookout. There are a just a few stiles.  Pictures from May 11th, 2025.
