SUMMARY:Islet Lake Staging Area to Lost Lake Shelter
DESCRIPTION:A great hike for the fall hike\, the trees should be displaying their full colour and the wide paths allow the hikers to socialize. There may even be the occasional hawk and some chickadees. We will meet at the parking lot of the Islet Lake Staging Area at 10:15 a.m.. The hike will be starting from the parking lot at 10:30\, heading towards the Lost Lake Shelter for lunch and then return. SUMMARY:Mill Creek Ravine in Mill Woods
DESCRIPTION:We will meet near the Mill Creek Ravine Trailhead at to SE corner 34 Street and 34 Avenue (Sliver Berry Road)\, with parking at the strip mall across the street\, at about 10:15 a.m. The hike will leave promptly at 10:30\, following various routes through the ravine to the ‘Jackie Parker Park Pavilion’ then returning. This hike tends to be icy so having trax/spikes is recommended.
