SUMMARY:Laurier Park to Whitemud Park via Hawrelak Park Footbridge - Tentative
DESCRIPTION:An exciting winter hike through the river valley parks with the added bonus of the annual Silver Skate Festival (snow sculptures & food pavilions).  \n\n\n\nWe’ll meet in the parking lot at Whitemud Park (on Fox Drive\, turn north on Keillor Road and turn into the first parking lot). Be there at 10:15 a.m. for a hike start time at 10:30. The pictures from February 15th\, 2026. \n\n\n\nIf you are new to WTA hikes\, then you should visit the Guided Hikes webpage for essential information. For further information specific to this hike\, refer to The Waskahegan Trail Guide Book (pages 14-15) or contact the Hike Leader\, TBD\, \n\n\n\nNote: the direction we go will depend on where the Silver Skate Festival is this year as that is where we will stop for lunch.
