Stoney Creek – Happy Valley Trail (Camrose)
March 19, 2023 @ 10:15 am – 3:00 pm MDT
We’ll meet at the trail head on on Valleyview Drive, Camrose (plug 2403 Valleyview Drive into your GPS & the trail head is next to it) at 10:15 a.m. and the hike will leave from at 10:30.
We typically choose this area in mid-July when the cacti are in bloom, and have never hiked the Stoney Creek trails in winter, as most of the trails are trackset by the Camrose Ski Club. However the Happy Valley Trails are now being setup for winter biking, snowshoeing, hiking … pictures of the group from Camrose who scouted on February 5th, 2023 (BTW – the animals are not real). With typical spring conditions on groomed trails its recommended to have your spikes/traxs & polls.
