Pipestone Creek (2 Groups – A49-A52 11.2km & A49-A50 6.6km)
June 24, 2018 @ 8:45 am - 3:00 pm MDT
We’ll be starting from the hike from ‘A49’, on Highway 814 but we’ll go in 2 groups:
- one at a more leisurely pace, following the success of Jerry Shaw’s wild flower hike from last season will go as far as the bridge at ‘A50’ before returning (~6.6km)
- another going at a faster pace, continuing on past ‘A50’ to ‘A52’, following a section of the trail we haven’t used recently due to a landslide just past ‘A52’ (~11.2km)
In Edmonton we will meet at the Century Park ‘Park & Ride’ Section E in the paid lot (it’s free on weekends) and carpool leaving at 9 a.m. Participants may proceed there directly on their own (we’ll be there about at about 9:50 a.m.), but should check the website prior to departure in case of a change.
