North Hastings Lake (A97 to A95) and Allen Nature Trail (afternoon)
June 5, 2022 @ 3:15 pm – 7:00 pm MDT
This will be an afternoon hike, with a shorter option along the Allen Nature Trail. The full hike will go through a combination of forest & farmland, with lunch at the historic St. Margaret’s Church on the edge of Hastings Lake. At the church we’ll meet up with those looking for the shorter hike and follow the Allen Nature Trail (thanks Jeff & Marja). The pictures from July 18th, 2021.
- Full Hike – we’ll meet at the trail head at “A97” (intersection of Township Road 520 & Range Road 203) at 3:15 a.m. (please park on RR203 on the north side to Twp Rd 520). The hike will leave from ‘A97’ at 3:30.
- Allen Nature Trail only – we’ll meet with those just doing the Allen Nature Trail at the St. Margaret’s Church (on RR 203) at about 4:30pm.
