Lois Hole Provincial Park & Grey Nuns White Spruce Park

March 10 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm MDT

It is Daylight savings today and we spring forward an hour!

Join me at Lois Hole Park doing about a 2 hr loop close to Big Lake in the woods in the morning ending at the parking lot shelter for lunch. A porcupine (albeit a blurry one!) and many snow snakes have been spotted there recently.

The afternoon we will take a shorter stroll to the White Spruce woods on the other side of the Sturgeon where birds are said to be abundant. Afterwards you have the option of a refreshment at the Enjoy center cafeteria.

With a promising forecast, we will meet in the Lois Hole Provincial Park parking lot at approx. 9:45AM to sign in. Hike will start at 10AM.

Take 137 Ave west to Ray Gibbons Drive and keep going west across Ray Gibbons at the lights into the park (lights are for “LeClair Way”, take the smaller road towards ‘Lois Hole Centennial Park’ rather than onto LeClair Way).
