Devon Ravine Trails
January 5, 2020 @ 9:45 am - 3:00 pm MST
It is a nice 9km hike through Devon & every time we seem to do a hike there the trail has improved. Pictures from January 6th, 2019.
We will start from the parking lot just outside the Lion’s Campground, going through the ravine, taking a few city streets to the arena (it will be open as there for minor hockey, so we’ll likely have lunch in the lobby & possibly the canteen may be open) and then the trails back to the Lion’s Campground.
In Edmonton we will meet at the McDonalds 87 Ave/149 St (8708 149 St) and carpool (leaving at 10 a.m.). Participants may proceed there directly on their own, but should check the website prior to departure in case of a change (e.g., weather forecast, trail conditions). The hike will leave from the parking lot at the Lion’s Campground at about 10:30 a.m..
If you are new to WTA hikes, then you should visit the Guided Hikes webpage for essential information.
