Miquelon Park Winter Hike

Ten people came out to hike the trails on Miquelon Provincial Park. The day was as sunny as it was frigid.

The animals are safe and thriving in their specialized winter homes—whether under the ice, in the lodges, in tree cavities, or under the snow.

This abandoned house is in the woods inside the park. We always pay our respects when we visit.

It’s quite obvious that the shortest day of the year is just around the corner. Thanks to Irene for scouting and leading the hike. You can find more photos on Flickr.
