Devon Ravine Trails
March 18 @ 9:45 am - 3:00 pm MDT
Due to the abundance of snow at Miquelon Lake, we have changed the hike to the Devon Ravine Trails.
It is a nice 9km hike through Devon, with pictures from March 23rd, 2014. We will start from the parking lot just outside the Lion’s Campground, going through the ravine, taking a few city streets to the arena and then the trails back to the Lion’s Campground. Note: on March 11th the trail was snowpacked & in great condition, but the forecast calls for lots of sun during the week so would recommend having your ‘trax’ (& poles) in case it does get icy.
In Edmonton we will meet at the McDonalds 87 Ave/149 St – 14920 – 87 Ave and carpool (leaving at 10 a.m.). Participants may proceed there directly on their own, but should check the website prior to departure in case of a change (e.g., weather forecast, trail conditions). The hike will leave from the parking lot at the Lion’s Campground at about 10:30 a.m..
